Christian Chirico

Hailing from Fluvanna County, Virginia, Christian began wrestling at the age of 13 under his father Paul Chirico and Fluvanna County High School Head Coach, Craig Conner.

After rising through the ranks, Christian became a 4-year starter for the FCHS Varsity wrestling team, compiling a career record of 156-26 and becoming Fluvanna County’s second ever state place winner.

Following high school, Christian accepted a Division I scholarship to wrestle at West Virginia University where he was a 4x letterman for the Mountaineers under 3x National Champion Greg Jones as well as 2x National Champion, World Champion and Olympic Silver Medalist, Sammie Henson.

Christian spent his off seasons training and competing in freestyle wrestling under Coach Henson at the Mountaineer Regional Olympic Training Center. Christian found jiu-jitsu in 2017 and is already successfully competing in tournaments.

He understands what it takes to be successful at all levels of competition and is eager to pass along not only the physical techniques but also the mental attitude it takes to win!
